Stars Aligned Quilt Class
Two Fabrics, simple construction, slice, twist, and wow! This is an easy, fun, and very fast quilt to make, using 10-inch squares of two fabrics. Join Colleen to learn this quick technique, and celebrate that the stars have truly aligned just right to have her with us. Have you been saving a focus fabric for just the right project? Materials list:
Pattern: Easy Quilts Summer 2018 (this issue available at QC)
Fabric:
If using Layer Cakes: 1 Layer Cake package prints (will only use 32 of the 40-42 squares) and 1 or 2 Layer Cake packages background (will also use 32 squares, some packages have 20 squares and some have 40-42)
1 yard inner border
1 3/4 yards outer border
3/4 yard binding
If using yardage: 4-7/8ths yards dark (red in picture) and 3-1/4 yards light (this includes squares, borders, and binding)
Please pre-cut 32 10" squares light and 32 10" square dark before class
Neutral piecing thread
Rotary cutter
Fabric marker that makes a clear, visible line on back of your fabrics. Water soluble, Frixion, chacoliner all ok
Mat 18X24 (don’t leave this in a hot car in the parking lot, it will get ruined!) We will have a few in the classsroom
6-1/2 X 24” Rotary Ruler or larger
