The Fit Doctor: Fit, Fashion, and Fun Lecture and Personal Fitting

Judy Kessinger started her career owning and operating a small retail fabric store in Louisville, Kentucky. She traveled nationwide holding seminars for Hancock Fabrics for over 25 years! Judy's next goal was to make STRESS-FREE sewing with simple solutions for fitting. Her personal style included many relaxed, comfortable, but well-fitted outfits. In her search for the "perfect" pattern, she decided to use her experience and create the system herself! And so the Master Tops and Master Pants patterns were born.

10am – 11am –Lecture- Fitting Issues and How to Solve Them

I present a power point on issues that most ladies have when fitting tops and pants and how to solve those issues.

11am-11:30am – Short Break

11:30am – 1pm – The Art of Fashion Camouflage

A trunk show with a power point presentation.  I bring the garments and talk about using various tricks to solve issues (such as sloping shoulders)

1pm – 2pm – Break for Lunch and Shopping

2:00pm – 3:00pm – Q&A

This is the time to ask the questions from the presentations

 3:00pm – 6:00pm – Personal Fittings

The most important part of this day!  I personally measure each lady and draw on a miniature pattern where they will go home and draw for themselves.  We go over their fitting issues and solve them then and there.
