Meets the 1st Weds. of every month at 6pm- 8pm. Each month we will explore a different topic--- a specialty foot, a technique, how to clean your machine---a variety of things that will help you know more about your machine. Sometimes we do a project. 

 

Our next meeting is Wednesday, Nov 5 at 6pm.  The project as seen below is "Turning the Corner" 

Learn the mitered corner technique used to make the placemat and napkins below. These would make great holiday gifts. 

 

 

The supply list:  

Machine and all feet etc. 

1 & 1/4 yd. background fabric (the back of the place mat and napkins and frames on the front fabric) 

1 yd. of feature fabric(place mat and napkin fronts) 

½ yd. batting 

Spray adhesive 

Marking pen etc. 

Ruler with a 45 degree marking 

Scissors 

Walking foot 

Point turner 

Rotary Cutter and Ruler 

Ruler with ¼” marking
