New Class Signup Underway!

Your paid class fee reserves your space and helps us prepare for the proper number of students.  It also entitles you to a 15% discount on all items you purchase for class.  All events and classes require advance registration except as noted:

Mini-Retreat

Join our basement retreat each month on the Friday before the 3rd Saturday of each month.  Sew from 9am-10pm on Friday, and again on Saturday from 9am-5pm.  Retreat fee is $20 and includes all that sewing time plus pizza Friday night! Work on your own projects and make new sewing friends.  We do have fun!  Advance signup is required to save space for you.

Fee:   $20 includes pizza Friday night.

Sew-n-Sew Saturday

Join Cathy on the last Saturday of every month (unless otherwise announced) in a retreat-style workshop where you can work on projects that may require help from a teacher.  Cathy is loaded with personality and patience and can help you get through tough spots in directions…or just come and sew with friends.

Fee:   $25 includes a light lunch.

Date:  Last Saturday of each month 10am-4pm

Beginning Quilting

Join Kelly for a comprehensive strip piecing class, resulting in a 40" square wall hanging...and the skills to make more!  Come in and check out the project we'll be making in class, meet Kelly, and select your fabric so you're all ready to go!

Fee:   $45 for all four classes, includes book to keep.  Fabric and supplies extra.

Date:  Februday 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, from 6:30pm-9pm

Flying Geese Skillbuilders

Vicki Swensen will teach you five (or so) methods to make flying geese units, and then you can choose your favorite to make this wonderful Skinny Minny runner!  The emphasis is on technique, and scrap fabric will be provided to try all the different methods.  Kits are available to make the project just like the sample made by Vicki.  Join us to make new friends, have some fun, and create something beautiful!

Fee:   $35

Date:  Two Thursdays, Feb 9 and Feb 23rd from 6:30-9pm

Lonestar

Janet Neuschwanger will use the Quiltsmart method of making this timeless quilt.  60-degree diamonds can be tricky, but not with this method.  We've seen many beginners have success using this method.  Give it a try and impress yourself!

Dresden Star

Join Janelle to make this amazing quilt by Edyta Sitar.  It's a lot simpler than it appears to be, and so much fun to make.

Date:  Two Thursdays, March 1st and 8th from 6-8:30pm

World Piece

Join Kelly for her FAVORITE QUILT to teach and to make herself!  Make a small wall hanging, tablerunner, or a larger quilt.  Once you learn to make block pairs, you'll be hooked just like she is!

Fee:   $35
